Financing Windows & Portfolio
inBEST provides customized growth capital to growing small and medium businesses through the following:
1. Strategic Investment Venture (SIV)
2. Business Acceleration Finance (BAF)
1. Strategic Investment Venture (SIV)
Fuels and accelerates the medium to long-term growth objective of an enterprise by providing growth capital, amounting from USD 100K to 300K.
Deployed as either conventional loan, venture loan (with flexible terms), mezzanine investments and/or equity with a tenor ranging from 3-7 years.
Only for corporations and cooperatives that have demonstrated viability for at least two years, a clear growth path, impactful, run and managed by responsible and credible entrepreneurs and managers, and preferably led and/or owned by women.
2. Business Acceleration Finance (BAF)
Supports the short to medium-term liquidity requirement of small growing businesses with clear growth ambitions with a loan size of USD 20k-80k.
Make SME investees more bankable, and investable, and start building a good relationship with the investees for possible longer and more strategic partnership.
Operated under two vehicles; 1) Backward and Forward Finance (BFF) adopts a value chain financing approach and targets to support suppliers and distributors of a specific anchor firm. 2) Business Venture Finance (BVF) targets small businesses that have very clear and specific growth ambitions.
BAF-supported businesses do not need to be registered as a corporation. At the very least, they should have a registered trade and business name with the DTI and have demonstrated robust evidence to scale. Aside from the growth and impact potentials, inBEST sees businesses supported in this vehicle to avail of multiple services to support their growth or graduate to be one of its investees under the Strategic Investment Venture window.
